LEARN TO FLY - Join us for an afternoon with Synergy where you will learn the art and healing of Partner Stretching and basic Thai Massage.
In this workshop you will:
Learn some fundamental asanas that can be practiced with a partner.
Learn of the health benefits physically, mentally and emotionally that come with the practice.
Learn how to mindfully communicate with a partner as you playfully stretch and move your body.
Develop trust and patience with another person.
Learn basic technique of Thai massage.
We will begin with some group warm-up and work into partner stretching and then move into more playful variations of postures that can be done at home. We'll end with a relaxing Thai massage where you will get comfortable with giving and receiving this form of therapy as a healing art.
Whether you're an experienced practitioner of yoga or martial arts or beginner with no background in physical movement, you will benefit from this workshop as you test your boundaries and unlock tension in your body....with a smile on your face.

Self Defense Seminar - Part I
Seminar I is the introductory seminar of the two part series. In the first seminar students learn basic escapes and Chin Nas (wrist or joint locks). Participants will be taught how to get out of attacks coming from any direction. Students will also be trained in pressure points. All of these techniques are fast and simple to execute, perfect for anyone as a means of self-defense.
Self Defense Seminar - Part II
In the second seminar students will have the opportunity to review and detail the techniques taught in the first seminar. Students will then learn advanced applications such as sweeps, throws and take downs. Students will also learn the proper way to fall without being injured, as well as some basic ground work techniques. |
