| 002 - Introduction to Qi Gong and Guang Ping Yang Tai Chi |

Qi Gung is an ancient Chinese practice which focuses on breath and the circulation of Chi. The movements and instruction focus on the internal awareness of the body by coordinating breath with the circulation of blood and chi (energy), to optimize all levels of health. The class also emphasizes the beginning teachings of Taoist meditation and Guang Ping Yang style Tai Chi Chuan.
Benefits include balance, strength, flexibility, focus, and stress reduction. |

| 003 - Introduction to Yang style Tai Chi |

Yang style Tai Chi Chuan is a 6 section, 20 minute moving meditation sequence. Instruction for this course will be on the "Awakening Chi" warmup sequence followed by the first section of the form.
Benefits include balance, strength, flexibility, focus, and increased blood circulation.

Yang style Tai Chi Chuan form style refinement and application. Tai Chi straight sword correction and technique explication. Introduction and advanced detail of old style Tai Chi. Push hands practice and nine point Taoist meditation. |

A fitness oriented class using the basic principles of Shaolin Kung Fu. Shaolin Kung Fu originated in China for military combat in ancient times. The techniques used include jabs, kicks, and moving stances. The class is guaranteed to improve strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular skills, while encouraging weight loss, toning muscles and enhancing overall physique. This class bridges the eastern and western philosophies of health and physical fitness. Have fun while engaging in a high intensity workout. |

| 101-Advanced Kung Fu Workshop |

Prerequisite: To be determined by instructor.
This form critique workshop will involve Shaolin Kung Fu, Southern style technique, and sparring. Emphasizing combat skills, and the fundamentals of form refinement. Training will include weapons and two-man set instruction. If you're not an advanced practitioner, feel free to stop by and watch these practitioners put on an awesome show! |

003-Self-Defense Workshop |

Learn how to defend yourself in any situation. Defense for attacks will include grabs, kicks, chokes, punches, sweeps, and takedowns. Chin-Nas, or wristlocks, are simple to learn and easy to execute and are highly effective for evading attacks. Pressure point training and techniques to disarm opponents will be taught. Learn skills that can save your life. |

| 005-Bikram Yoga |

A sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises designed to detoxify, strengthen, and tone every part of the body. Bikram Yoga is traditionally taught in a room heated to a room that is heated to over 100 degrees. The humidity combined with the heat is designed to help the body release toxins, and allows the body to stretch to its maximum capacity. Bikram Yoga improves circulation, increases stamina, and improves overall health and wellbeing. Simple, yet challenging, this style of Yoga is suitable for all levels of practice.

| 006-Vinyasa Yoga |

The word Vinyasa is derived from Sanskrit and means "flow." Vinyasa is a flow of postures. Students are led through traditional sun salutations and creativity is encouraged. The teacher will usually choose to focus on one core theme such as hip opening, inversion postures, balancing poses, back bends, forward bends, or twists. Deep Ujiya breathing is used to heat the body and allows for a more vigorous practice. Vinyasa is ideal for both beginners and advanced practioners.

007-Restorative Yoga |

A more relaxed approach; this is a perfect way to end a stressful day. This style is gentle and as the name says, restorative. The focus is on relaxation and breath. Postures are less vigorous and are held for a greater duration of time, allowing the body to open gradually. Students are encouraged to move into a more meditative practice. Deep belly breathing leaves one feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Instruction in how to understand the strengths and challenges of each type, as well as the defense mechanisms and how to work with the development of your type. There will be instruction in developing an inner observer, the tracking of sensations, feelings and thoughts through exercises and lectures that will increase awareness and compassion for the self and others. |

| 009 - Introduction to Hsing Yi and Ba Gua |

Hsing Yi, according to Grandmaster Look, is the "Easiest form to learn, but the hardest to master". You will be able to see why, as the movements seem elementary to the naked eye. But as you progress, you will feel the power in your movements as you balance your internal chi and your external movement.
Ba Gua instruction will include walking the circle and how to change directions while condentrating on your inner chi movement.
* We HIGHLY recommend that everyone take the opportunity to attend all of Grandmaster Look's courses. You will walk away from the the course and the retreat with a new view on how your body works, the most important medicine for any sickness. |
